WE WENT INTO THE STUDIO AND ON A COUPLE OF TAKES EACH WE DID IT! That was great and cost effective
for me. This CD will grow on you the more you listen the more you will enjoy my work.
Remember this is a classic in the sense I wrote all the songs on this one, that may not happen again and most
artist dont do that any more it is hard work but I love to write songs.
The songs have its own message and meaning after your read what each song meant to
me you can see what I was thinking when I wrote it.
As I wrote the
songs I wanted to write something that conservative people could dance to and enjoy. I purposely stayed away from a certain
beat so that I can continue to develope my own style.
Writing music is
something I have always been interested in.
One
of the best writers that inspired me was Mr. Smokey Robinson.
I
started as a kid playing Smokey songs on the piano I was amazed what he was doing and the ease at which i was learning to
play the songs.
I will always write, sing and produce only good clean
music that is my hallmark no matter what everyone else is doing to sell a CD.
This
CD dedicated to the most close to me because not only was it my first project that I wrote and produced but not many artist
write all of the songs for a CD and do all the work I did. I am proud of the outcome!
I did it on a shoe string budget and got it out to a lot of radio stations.

In Traffic
Let's Go Driving! Who does not get stuck in
traffic. I think of riding in the streets of San Francisco since I was old enough to drive. And every time I say whoa
whoa I am saying whoa to you cause your Stuck In Traffic. When I say hey hey I am saying I am glad you got something that
will get you through it.
I had to put in my old 1962 limo on the
back cover of the CD which was when I became King Jorge so named by my Eddy st people.
I remember when Cadillac's was my main car which I drove all over San Francisco. I still have a place
in my heart for the Caddi convertibles 1959-1970 especially and later when the Elderodo the rada and we called it became convertible.
I also loved the Ford Thunderbird convertables as well I owned a red 1962 one. The bird on the back of the CD is a friend
of mine.
However now Rolls Royce is on my list as well. I want to
get Stuck In Traffic in a white with red interior convertable.
I would
not mind being Stuck In Traffic!
Take Your Time
Tells teens and others not to rush into having sex. Kids don't want chaparones any more they are alone
whenever they get the chance. The dont just hold hands no more and kiss sex has to be a part of the courtship. The
thing is never and I mean never before in the history of mankind has sex been a deadly weapon like it is with
the HIV virus. At times you can't tell the person is sick most times they don't know they are sick some don't
care and all it takes is one time. There was one good looking person on the news one day who they know that
he infected hunderds of people even he lost count, and dirty part of it he was infecting men and women.
I look forward to a day when no one will say " I am sick"
When the first human couple was put together sex was reserved for married people only and it still is by Christian
standards I dont want to sound preachey but that is where my knowledge comes from.
So
when it comes to sex young and old Christian or not
Since all it takes

Need You Baby
A love song of all love songs, a wedding song,
a only you song. I feel it deep inside every time I hear or sing this song. I can listen to it over and over. When I
do sing it I am singing to those who are truely in Love. We all have Needs, (food, shelter, clothing) Wants,(Cars Nice
House etc) and desires,(Trips, $$$$, Long healthy life.) But there is nothing like the love of a good
women! I can listen to this one over and over while thinking of the right mate for me becasue
I know she is out there. It is the same for you the right mate is out there and I Need You Baby.
Going
Back To San Francisco
Oh man oh man one of my favorites. Reminds
me of when I was growing up there, everything was so simple at that time. Growing up in the projects on Eddy St after
living in the projects in Potrero Hill. It is not about going back to San Francisco per say I go back home often, it is about
going back to that time when I was growing up playing sports everyday and singing harmony with my homies back in the day back
in San Francisco. I also figure if Tony Bennett can leave his heart in my home town I can be the one who is Going Back To
San Francisco my home town.
Love By The Golden Gate Bridge
This song tells
us that you can't mix two people together that don't belong together. You can't put a square peg in a round hole
especially when it comes to mixing two religions. You might as well be standing in the cold foggy rain next to the Golden
Gate Bridge. To my critics surprise this song gets a lot of down loads and on Napster to boot but it is not surprising
to me. It really has a good beat for dancing especially if you still do the electric slide. I loved it when I saw a whole
room full of people dancing and enjoying this song.
Do You Love Me Too
Reminded me
of the time when I was in school and every week I thought I was in love. I am a big kid at heart and love to laugh
and play even now.
However I remember falling in love and when I
did it felt so good I couldn't eat or sleep she was just in my heart and mind. That's the kind of love I want to experience
again but the one time when I meet the one true love I will marry and live forever now and on into God's New System
of things.
So for right now Do You Love Me Too Like I Love You?
You're So Mean To Me
A song about those in love and where love is not returned.
It's so good to love somebody and have somebody love you back! If that is not the case then that person
will be real Mean To Me. At the end of this song I am saying how different cities know that she so mean to me now when cites
know someone is mean to you that's a mean woman.
However at the same
time I am giving some love to New Orleans after the flood and so to fill in the rest of the song I mentioned other
cities that are surrounded by water and could in fact be hit by floods.
Success And Fame
I
love this song it is the one song that came out just as I inteded in terms of the way the song is kinda bluesy yet still R&B
and tells the message I wanted people to hear. You know so many entertainers are mobbed by people all the time at times
it is hard to be known and some don't handle it well at all.
Imean I could not believe it when some say they can't
even go to the bathroom without someone interuding on their right to some privacy. The song is about those in sports, music,
acting etc
Success And Fame really do change people on both sides of the table meaning the qoute"star"
and the fans.
It is also a song about people who think
they have made it and forget where they came from some of which I know personally. You have not made it if you can't support
where you came from. To me you have a problem with who you are and where you come from.
How you going to get where your going if you can't remember where you've been, hear where I'm
coming from?
My people taught me right is very true, they told me be proud
of who I am and never forget where I came from. I am actually thinking of all my relatives who shaped my life when I say my
people taught me right. I had a great childhood and at that time all family members could straighten a brotha out.
My grandfather always told me I was destined to do a lot of good things I want to prove
him right.
We all have our own Success and Fame story no matter what we
do for a living it is an important job to those who need it preformed. So what ever you are doing do it with all you got and
never forget where you came from!
